Living with diabetes is not easy especially when it comes to eating the right food. In order to manage the problem and provide proper nutrition as well, a balanced diet is necessary. If you are suffering from the disease, make sure to strictly follow a menu to control the disease in some ways. Healthy people can also do the same in order to avoid having the disease.

People suffering diabetes must avoid eating fried food. Oily stuff is harmful and may only worsen their condition. Skimmed milk and few home made cheese for breakfast is a lot better. It is highly recommended that they consume more green vegetables like spinach, cabbage, green beans and more. Tomatoes are also beneficial as well as black gram flour.

Diabetics must also avoid white bread, potatoes, and rice pastas because these are all starchy foods. They must also concentrate more on consuming vegetable and fruit juices. One of the best juices that they can take is the bittergourd juice. It is full of vitamins and minerals vital in improving hypertensions and relieving other complications caused by the disease. Diabetic patients can take bittergourd juice every morning for better results.

Garlic can also be similar to juice. You simply chew about two chunks of garlic while sipping some water. This would help your pancreas function better.

Some diabetic patients may have heard of fenugreek seeds. This is because fenugreek helps a lot in controlling the sugar level of our blood. All you have to do is soak half tea spoon of fenugreek seeds in the water overnight. In the morning you can have this water to drink. Of course, do not forget to incorporate exercise in your daily life. Diabetics can have light exercise like going for a walk. Avoid doing too much exercise to avoid stress.
