What is diabetes and how does it affects the person who get inflicted with it? Well actually it’s a disorder of metabollism in which the body is unable to use glucoseas a source of fuel because of deficiency of insulin secretion or insulin action or both. It is characterized of hyperglycemia in association with glucossuria with or without ketonuria.

There are actually two types of diabetes mellitus, the type one or the Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus and the next one is the type 2 known as Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes Milletus. The type 1 is also known as the juvenile diabetes in children since it can appear at any age. This type also immobilize one’s capacity to produce insulin of its own since the body destroys cell that helps to generate insulin while type 2 is the most ordinary form of the disease and not unlike the first type it can still produce insulin but not enough.

Please be informed that most people who has type 2 diabetes are those who are overweight, so obesity is something one has to be aware of and this is most people who have been diagnosed with this disease are those who are of age or the elder one.

Like what I have mentioned earlier that type 1 diabetes can be detected as early as age 14, this was exemplified since it commence in young person. It is indeed genetic but no need to fear that it can run in the blood of the entire kin since it has passive trait. On the other hand a Type 2 diabetes was once called adult onset diabetes  or for those late bloomers because it is usually diagnosed in adulthood . diabetes is a disease that can’t easily predict or be foreseen. The sad fact about it is that once you get it, then it is going to be a lifetime treatment.

By the way here are the symptoms of this disease,  you can suspect yourself for having this kind of disease if you frequently urinate, excessive thirst and have dry mouth, a person easily gets hungry, your vision suddenly becomes blurry, you can feel some tingling sensation in your hands and feet,  wounds that takes a longer time to heal, weight loss, and for most men their sexual drive or urge starts to fluctuate.

However the only symptoms that is not present in type 1 is that type 2 diabetes includes signs with those who frequently suffer from yeast infection and nausea. Males are most susceptible to develop diabetes since they are the one who consume more calories as compare to women. So there are two ways on how you can prevent yourself from having it. First all you have to do is to  ge ta regular and active exercise and then next one is to have a strict discipline when it comes to your diet so make sure that you try to cut down the quantity of your carbohydrate intake.  But if you’re already inflicted with the disease the only things that you can do is to get a regular check up, exercise, discipline with the food you eat and always make sure that you are always taking your medication.
